As you all know, if I post on the weekends, I will publish non-finance related posts, and today fulfills my usual publication pattern. This leads to a lot of people, only here for the financial related posts, to skip all my weekend posts. But if you are among this segment of my subscribers, please read at least the first couple paragraphs of today’s written post before deciding to skip it and the accompanying podcast. In today’s podcast posted above, I speak of the need to beware the self-serving, narcissistic, bloodsucking, soul crushing message of the establishment’s widely spread false narrative about fame, wealth and success that leave billions directionless and without meaning in life. Nearly every message the Ruling Class establishment forwards these days, whether through pop culture, social media, mass media or even through their billionaire puppets, involves elevating self over others, a special type of narcissism that leads us all into a descent into darkness.
The ruling elites are creating the conditions for their own demise. Because money is their only god, they and their constructs are doomed. The highest human values are unconditional love, honesty, friendship, charity, kindness and donating our precious time in service. How else can one define happiness and success?
Our Great War is a spiritual war indeed! Hat tip to Tyler Durden...
Love your message John! Taking action now is key. We can all get stronger a little each day in every dimension: physical, spiritual, emotional, mental, social, financial. And help our loved ones along their path.💪
I like this from Alex Krainer: “May God grant us clarity and courage through trials that lie before us. Thucydides said that the secret of happiness is freedom, and the secret of freedom is courage.”
Have I not Commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
I initially followed you for your financial advice. Over the past year, I have come to appreciate your philosophical outlook even more than the financial views. You are significant breath of fresh air that invigorates my soul. I cherish your statement regarding trusting a man or a woman. I feel that my generation was the first one that took the steps to create this situation. Born during WW2 all we had to do to suceed was simply survive. The growth in this country was sufficient to carry us up with the tremendous wave of prosperity that ensued. We took too much for granted and raised our kids even more priviledged. So much so that what used to be a simple annoyance is now treated as a major problem. We rarely feel daily inconveniences and almost never are called upon to actually meet our true commitments. As such we have become super weak, pampered and too often unappreciative of what we truely have/had. We seem to think we are better than others and lost track of the fact we are all the same. Primarily through the work of others, parents, inventors, risk takers, etc, we have benefitted. As such we have lost touch with reality and sadly will to often be the ignorant lemming when the balance is restored to the planet not ever realizing what we have allowed to occur. Your voice reminds me to stand firm. Thank you!
The Gaza war has one side at most that is fighting a religious war. There is good side and an evil side and it does mankind no good to equate the two..
