I think social responsibility to one's community is an important message that is not stated enough and we can convince more people to pursue profits without leaving a negative social footprint in their communities as nearly all corporations do today. I didn't really delve into how social responsibility and truth can merge in a positive outcome from a business perspective so perhaps that will be a topic of a future podcast here.
These are important topics, thanks for your insights. Your discussion of helping the young gang members is a great example of how helping others can provide personal benefits as well. The biggest problem in the world today is people chasing glamours of money, power and fame.... But not enough people discuss the actual methods to gaining happiness (cultivating altruism).
