From personal observation from the time I was a child, in my opinion, society’s ability to think critically has fallen off a cliff. In a podcast I published at the end of the year, I spoke about how clear signs of intellectual decay were apparent in how frivolously the terms “brilliant” and “intelligent” are bandied about and applied by some to describe hysterical, foolish non-thinkers. In the examples I provided in that podcast, when I was a child, if one described a person’s severe lapse in critical thinking, and then in the same breath, described such a person as brilliant, even my friends would have laughed at such a bastardization of the world “brilliant”.
There is something to be said for consistency in executed intelligence if one is to be labelled as brilliant. One can’t be solving the most complex mathematical equations known to mankind one second and then try to cross a multi-lane freeway of speeding cars on foot and still be labelled as brilliant. But yet, as I outlined here, we observe prominent scientists perform the mental equivalent of crossing freeways full of speeding cars on foot all the time in their support of State sponsored Covid and pharmaceutical narratives, and yet many among us still believe they are “brilliant”. But due to the dumbing down of society, academic and professional pedigree alone in the absence of any displayed critical thought can often earn one the undeserved intellectual respect of the masses.
It is for this reason alone, and a belief that the academic system dumbs down young adults more than it improves their intelligence and critical thinking skills, that I devoted 15 years of my life to develop skwealthacademy, to be launched later in Q1 2023. For those that have wondered when I am launching this academy it will be sometime in Q1 2023, but likely in the latter portion of Q1 2023.
