President Xi Declares "No More Double Agents" in the BRICS Alliance
Through his refusal to attend the G20 summit in India
BRICS – Brazil, Russia, Iran, China, Saudi Arabia
The above list is the accurate BRICS acronym. I’ve been stating for well over a decade that India, especially under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, acts more like a NATO puppet of than a partner of Brazil, Russia, and China in economic and financial matters. And as far as South Africa, I have always interpreted their behaviors to indicate a luke-warm commitment to the BRICS alliance over the past couple of decades. For this reason, I have always believed that Iran, and now Saudi Arabia, are far better representatives of the letters “I” and “S” in the BRICS acronym. Here is why I think Chinese President Xi’s refusal to attend the recent G20 meeting, his first such instance since becoming China’s President, is really a disguised message that no double agents in the BRICS alliance will be tolerated moving forward.
I’ve stated that I’ve never viewed India as a true, fully committed member of BRICS ever since Modi became its PM in 2014 and quickly demonstrated his true allegiances shortly thereafter. First, Modi tried to trick his own citizens in 2015 into handing over their cumulative very considerable stores of private physical gold to Indian banks in return for worthless pieces of paper and miserable interest rates that have failed to keep pace with the rate of gold’s price appreciation. Even though this clearly was a gold demonetisation program, as a Western puppet, Modi comically pitched his devious scheme to his own citizens as a “gold monetisation” plan. Thank God billions of Indian citizens saw through Modi’s deception and his plan to demonetize gold miserably failed.
After being rebuffed by his citizens in this devious plan, Modi enacted a subsequent policy the following year to punish the poor in his nation, perhaps as retribution for their insolence in refusing to hand over their physical gold for worthless pieces of paper (in India, even the poor understand that the rupee is a terrible means of preserving wealth and convert thier paper/digital rubles into physical gold). In 2016, Modi demonetized over 85% of all fiat currencies in circulation overnight, even though other financial analysts and former financial officials in his nation warned him that doing so would enact great suffering upon hundreds of millions of poor in India. Modi’s overnight declaration literally provided no time or recourse for hundreds of millions of the poor in India to make alternate plans to buy food and survive.
