Big Trouble Ahead for US Based Mining Companies?

As all of you know that have been following my analysis since the mid 2000’s, I’ve been stating for decades now that Western governments around the world would always increase royalties on precious metal miners in their nation when their fiat currency systems entered the initial stages of collapse. It’s the standard modus operandus of “seize profits that don’t belong to you to make up for one’s own governing incompetence that created huge deficits due to perpetual wars and complete disregard of pressing problems at home” at play.  We’ve seen this unlawful seizure happen over and over again throughout history.

 The US government’s seizure of the most intact T-Rex fossilized skeleton every found by paleontologist Peter Larson, Sue Hendrickson and their team is a perfect example of this. After Mr. Larson and his team discovered the T-Rex in South Dakota in 1990 after gaining permission from the landowner to dig on his property, the Federal government allowed the team to execute all the painstaking work and to spend the money necessary to excavate the fossil completely for two years and when the work was finished, FBI agents swooped in to steal the T-Rex, arrested Sue Hendrickson for stolen property from Indian Trust Land and jailed Ms. Hendrickson and Mr. Larson. In the end, though the paleontologists sued the federal government and won their freedom, they still lost, as the T-Rex fossil was handed back to the rancher that owned the land where the T-Rex was discovered after the rancher had already accepted a $5,000 payment to allow the paleontologists to excavate his land for fossils. Eventually, the landowner sold the T-Rex for $7M to a Chicago museum whereas it was the paleontologists’ wish for the T-Rex to be publicly displayed in South Dakota.
